Would you like to gain new, or develop your existing, skills and techniques for taking part in a performing arts audition? Join industry expert, Ailish Murphy, on Thursday 20 February in the Dixon Studio at the Palace Theatre for our brand-new Audition Technique Workshops! We will be exploring acting, singing and dancing, alongside top tips and feedback, provided in an informal, positive and encouraging environment. Our aim is to break down barriers of nerves and anxiety when heading into an audition, whether it’s your first time or 15th time!
If you would like to take part, please prepare a song you feel confident knowing the lyrics to and would feel comfortable showcasing at the workshop, once you have booked your ticket. Ailish will also be joined by our Palace Theatre Summer Youth Project Producer, Emma, who will be talking to participants about an upcoming audition that we would love for you to apply for, as a perfect first step into auditioning!
We will be running two masterclasses, for two different age categories (9 to 13 years, and 14 to 19 years), so please ensure you are booking for the correct group.
